We met at a sports bar during a Broncos game after the waitress accidentally gave us each other’s food orders. Chad claimed he was perfectly happy with my order until I caught him trying to trade fries back onto his plate. We spent the rest of the game debating sports, stealing appetizers from each other, and acting like we hadn’t just met. By the end of the night, neither of us really cared who won the game anymore. It’s a great story. Very cinematic. Very believable. Just kidding, we actually met on Hinge.

We got engaged in the most “us” way possible. Thanks to a snow day, Megan and Dario were home when a package arrived that needed a signature… which unfortunately meant they both signed for the engagement ring. From that moment on, the box turned into a real-life "The Tell-Tale Heart" situation, silently haunting the house all day while Chad tried to act casual and Megan tried to pretend she wasn’t completely onto him.

That night, Chad put on Shrek — the movie we were watching when he first told her he loved her. With flowers waiting and nerves definitely kicking in, Chad asked Megan to marry him, and of course, she said yes.

Afterwards, we celebrated at Manning's Steakhouse, soaking in every moment of the best night of our lives.
